Sunday Morning on Rue Mouffetard
Sunday, August 6th, 2017Sunday Morning on Rue Mouffetard
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013A vide-greniers (yard sale) was held this morning on lower rue Mouffetard, just south of the Saint Médard church. We learned that residents of the neighborhood pay 13€ per meter for a stand, whereas outsiders pay 15€. From the short time that I spent there, I got the impression that many of the persons displaying wares came from outside the neighborhood. A lot of the stuff that they were displaying looked used, but didn’t look like old junk that you clear out of your attic and bring down to the sidewalk to sell.
